As you may be aware, BNA did not tender for the re-newal of the Contract with Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, which terminates on 31st March 2001. We would like to inform you however, this does not affect your membership of BNA, which will continue as normal. Whilst we will be closing the Chalmers Street office with effect from 31st March 2001, we will be transferring to our George Street office at 113/115 George Street, Edinburgh, EH2 4JN. Tel number 0131 225 7453. Hours of business are Monday to Saturday 09.00-17.00, Sunday 10.00-16.00. Please ensure any timesheets for work within the Lothian University NHS Trust are submitted to the above address with effect from 1st April 2001. We would like to highlight that the pay rates for work within the NHS with effect from 1st April 2001 will be in excess of those previously paid paid at our Chalmer Street office and have enclosed a copy for your attention. BNA can also offer work in Nursing Homes, Industry and Private Homecare and although the Trust is expanding its own Nurse Bank, we hope to continue to be able to offer shifts within the NHS at very competitive rates. Please call our George Street office with your availability for work from the 1st April 2001 and if you have any queries please do not hesitate to ask.
